Getting Started
What you get, how the free trial works and how to find your favorite trainers.
What is Ride TV?
Ride TV is the streaming home of Western performance: every discipline and the biggest events in one subscription. Your membership includes:
- Training from top horsemen across ten disciplines, from all-around to working cow horse
- BarrelRacing.com Videos and Horse&Rider OnDemand, no extra subscriptions needed
- Livestreams and event coverage from The Patriot, Pink Buckle, Ruby Buckle, Cinch RSNC and more
- New footage every week, so there's always something fresh in your queue
How does the free trial work?
Start with a 3-day free trial and pay nothing today. When the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically at the monthly or annual price you picked when you signed up.
Don't want to continue? Just cancel before your trial ends and you won't be charged.
Why do I see a $1 charge after starting my trial?
That's a temporary $1 hold (not a charge) used to verify your card and prevent fraud. It drops off your account within a few days. The hold is always in U.S. dollars, so your bank may show it converted to your local currency.
How do I find a specific trainer?
Head to the Browse page and use Search at the top of the page. You can also filter the full library by discipline.
Don't see the trainer you're looking for? We'd love your recommendation. Email memberservice@equinenetwork.com.
Can I keep a list of videos to watch later?
Yes. Add any title to My List and it'll be waiting for you. On Apple TV, My List lives under Library at the top of the app; press and hold a title to add it.
Billing & Plans
Pricing, billing dates, cancelling, pausing and payment questions.
How much does Ride TV cost?
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $19.99/mo | Full access to the library, livestreams and event coverage. Cancel anytime. |
| Annual (best value) | $199.99/yr | Same full access, billed once a year: about $16.67/mo. |
Both plans renew automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel.
When will I be charged?
You're billed on the same date each cycle that your paid subscription started. For example, if your first charge was March 15, your next monthly charge is April 15.
How do I cancel my subscription?
How you cancel depends on where you signed up.
If you signed up on the Ride TV website:
- Sign in and click your profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Go to Billing & subscription, then click Manage subscription.
- Click Cancel subscription. Choose "No thanks, I want to cancel" (the other options pause your account instead).
- Click Continue, then Confirm cancellation.
You'll get a confirmation email, and you keep full access until the end of your current billing period or trial.
If you signed up through an app store, you'll need to cancel there. We can't cancel these for you:
- Cancel through Apple (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV)
- Cancel through Google Play (Android phone, Android TV)
- Cancel through Roku (Roku channel)
- Cancel through Amazon (Fire TV, Fire tablet)
Can I pause instead of cancelling?
Yes. If you're on a monthly plan purchased on our website, you can pause for one, two or three months. You won't be charged while paused, and you won't have access to videos during that time.
- Click your profile icon, then Manage subscription.
- Choose the Pause option and select how long.
The pause starts on your next billing date. You can unpause anytime; you'll be charged that day and a new billing cycle begins.
How do I switch between monthly and annual?
- Click your profile icon and go to Billing & subscription.
- Click Manage subscription and pick your new billing frequency.
- Click Confirm.
The new rate kicks in at the end of your current billing cycle.
What is your refund policy?
Because every new member gets a free trial before being billed, we don't offer refunds. To avoid another charge, cancel before the end of your current billing period or trial. You'll keep access until that period ends.
If you believe your situation warrants an exception, email memberservice@equinenetwork.com and we'll review your account.
How do I update my credit or debit card?
- Sign in, click your profile icon and choose Account settings.
- Select Billing & subscription, then Payment method.
- Enter your new card details and click Save.
Subscribed through an app store? Update your payment method in that store instead.
I don't recognize a charge on my card.
Ride TV charges usually appear on your statement starting with "OTT*". If you see one you don't recognize, email memberservice@equinenetwork.com with:
- The last 4 digits of the card
- The date of the charge
- How the charge appears on your statement
Please never send your full card number by email.
My payment failed. What should I do?
The most common cause is your bank blocking the charge, so call your bank or card provider first. If they confirm nothing is blocked, email us and we'll take a look.
How do I get a receipt?
Your receipt is at the bottom of the confirmation email we sent when you subscribed. For a renewal receipt or a re-send, email memberservice@equinenetwork.com.
Is it safe to pay on Ride TV?
Yes. Our payment processor is certified PCI Service Provider Level 1, the highest level of certification available, and all checkout and account pages are encrypted with HTTPS.

Why was I logged out?
If you haven't signed in for a long time, we may log you out for security. Just sign back in.

Livestreams & Events
What you need to watch live and how event coverage works.
What livestreams can I watch?
Ride TV streams Ranch Sorting, Barrel Racing and Western Performance events live, plus on-demand replays from The Patriot, Pink Buckle, Ruby Buckle, Cinch RSNC, NRCHA events and more. See what's coming up on the Event Coverage page.
Some marquee events, like the WRCA World Championship Ranch Rodeo, are offered as separate event packages you can pre-order. Check the event page for what's included.
What do I need for a smooth livestream?
A fast, steady connection makes the biggest difference. Here's the minimum speed for each quality level:
| Quality | Minimum speed |
|---|---|
| 360p | 1 Mbps |
| 720p (HD) | 3 Mbps |
| 1080p (Full HD) | 7 Mbps |
| 4K | 22 Mbps |
Watching at an event venue or on a work or school network? Firewalls can block streams; try a different connection.
Can I cast a livestream to my TV?
Casting live video from the web player isn't supported yet. To watch live on your TV, use the Ride TV app on your TV device, or connect your computer to the TV with an HDMI cable.

Troubleshooting
Quick fixes for buffering, playback errors and app hiccups.
My video keeps buffering or skipping.
On any device:
- Check your internet speed; you need at least 3 Mbps for HD.
- Restart your router or modem, or try a different connection.
- Turn off home internet filters (like Circle or Net Nanny), which can interrupt streaming.
- Lower the video quality in the player settings.
On a computer: update your browser, clear its cache, or try a private/incognito window.
In an app:
- Sign out and sign back in.
- Close the app, turn Wi-Fi off and on, then reopen.
- Restart your device.
- Check for an app update, or delete and reinstall the app.
I paid but never got an email to start watching.
No problem. Sign in with the email you used at checkout and you'll have access right away. Still can't get in? Email memberservice@equinenetwork.com.
A video won't play at all.
First, make sure you're signed in and your subscription is active. Then try the buffering steps above. If it's just one video, email us the video's title so we can test it.
